Mathighatta, Centre place for most of the villages like Siddaramanahalli, Kavalipura, Kurubarahalli, Kurubarahalli thanda, Kavalipura, Cheelanahalli, Devarahalli, Banjenahalli, G.Karehalli, Beeranahalli, Dasarahalli, Madalu, Sadarahalli, Huligondi, Lakkenahalli, Lakkenalli thanda, Kariyanahalli, Kuppalu and Siddarahatti.

Facilities: Primary Health Center, Vijaya Bank, Electicity (MESCOM) Maintenance Center, BSNL telephone exchange, SKR High School, Govt. and Private Middle schools. Library, a small Post Office and BCM Boys Hostel.

SKR High school had good reputation in around kadur for its best coaching. All credit goes to teachers like, B.Siddaramanna (Maths), Late GN Honnalingappa(Science), V.Rudregowda(Kannada), Siddalingaiah, Chandraiah(Hindi), Late SV Chandrappa(PE), BTN(English) and MK who devoted their effort in bringing bright students to external world.

SHR High was popular during early 70'S and 80's, Most of the High school student were Natives, Relatives of mathighatta and Neighboring villages.

Apart from Natives of Mathighatta, most of the government servants working in and around villages residing here.

Though it is well connected by road (NH206), Bus facility very limited (few express buses stops here on request). This is just to facilitate of school/college going children during day time. People have only option to use passby trucks as transportation medium (it is not safe, but no other way).

Problems: Since the Highway is passed thro this village, more prone to road accidents. unforunately even the primary school building are spreads on both sides of highway, leading school children to cross the road, it unsafe for school going kids.

Water supply and Street Lightings are maintained by Panchayath. Due to non regulated electricity supply, and almost every agricultural family owns borewells for agriculture, leading to difficit under water resource. most of the borewells drains up during summer. This causes severe water problems for the villagers and live stock.

Major crops Coconut, Ground nut, Vegetables, Sunflower, Ragi and Hurali.
