Mathieu Roy (born August 10, 1983, in St-Georges, Quebec) is an ice hockey defenceman. Roy was drafted in the seventh round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, 215th overall, by the Edmonton Oilers.
To date, most of Roy's professional career has been spent in the American Hockey League, with the Toronto and Edmonton Roadrunners, and the Hamilton Bulldogs. He's also spent NHL time with the Oilers.
On January 10, 2007, while on a recall, Roy scored his first NHL goal against the San Jose Sharks.
