Mathieu Proulx

Mathieu Proulx is a cornerback with the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League. He was runner-up for the 2005 Most Outstanding Rookie award in the CFL. He played his university football for Université Laval in Quebec City. He won the Vanier Cup twice with Université Laval. A controversy surrounding Mathieu Proulx broke out when the Football Reporters of Canada president accused the Quebec members of being biased when it was revealed Mathieu Proulx received six votes for Most Outstanding Rookie when it was believed by English Canada that the western candidate should be the runaway winner.
