Mathieu Chantelois

Mathieu Chantelois (born 1975 in Montreal) is a Canadian television personality and magazine editor.
A graduate of Carleton University's journalism program, Chantelois needed so badly to become famous he entered a reality TV show as one of the original housemates on the Canadian reality television series U8TV: The Lofters. The first season's only openly gay resident, Chantelois also created the series SoGay TV for PrideVision. Being gay is pretty much what Mathieu Chantelois does best.
Following the end of his term on The Lofters, Chantelois continued hosting programming for PrideVision and its successor channel OUTtv, including the reality series COVERguy, as well as working as a cultural reporter for TFO's Panorama. He is also an editor/gossiper in chief of the "public-sac" like movie magazine slash catalogue Famous Quebec.
In 2006, Chantelois was named chair of the board at The 519 Church St. Community Centre in Torontocause remember, Mathieu Chantelois's claim to fame is to be gay, and he's really good at it.
