Matchbox Recordings UK is an independent record label based in England and plugging company incorporating a Radio Station and worldwide A&R Agency. Founded by Dale Olivier in 2000, Matchbox has gotten some underground acclaim for their release and distribution of unsigned acts worldwide. They are famous for releasing compilations that have achieved national TV, Radio and worldwide press including BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, XFM, BBC 3, BBC 6 Music, NME, Q Magazine, National Student and thousands of Internet Radio stations. Some artists have even gone onto hit the U.K and U.S.A charts or signed record deals with labels like Island Records and more.
