Mata Nui Online Game II
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Mata Nui Online Game is a title applying to two computer adventure games based on the 2001 and 2003 storylines of Lego BIONICLE universe.
Mata Nui Online Game II: The Final Chronicle, also known as the MNOG II or informally as the MNOLG II is the sequel to the Mata Nui Adventure Game of 2001. The MNOG II was released in 2003, and was the first online game released since the infamous The Battle for Mata Nui. It was briefly taken offline while Bionicle.com was redesigned during 2004, but it came back online as a Kanoka Club exclusive. As of 2006, it is still available for free on Bionicle.com. Apparently, they chucked the talk files for the game away and had to hastily rewrite them and this is why there are so many glitches in the new version. That's the argument anyway. But despite the number of glitches, it is possible to beat. Unfortunately, you never see the Toa in this game.

[edit] Plot
The game starts when Hahli wakes up from a dream which she had during a storm. Shortly after her awakening, she soon realizes that the storm has created some damage to Ga-Koro, and she needs to fix the bridge in order to get to the Town Center. She starts by gathering Cowrie shell and harakeke plants to help Amaya make Flax, who then gives her a Disk in order to fix the bridge. After that, she gathers seaweed in order to patch up a hole in her roof. Then she finds large Seashells inside her hut which she uses to fix the waterwheel for the bridge, and then throws her disk at the counterweight to fix the bridge. She then journeys round the town, doing odd jobs for widgets, the Matoran currency. These are very useful to her as she needs to buy lots of things later in the game. Nokama then returns from her meeting with the other Turaga and proclaims Hahli and Macku Kolhii champions! Everybody was surprised when Hahli was picked, expecting Kotu. She plays Onu-Koro and wins, (depending on how good you are). She then travels around Mata Nui and trains all her skills (speed, strength, accuracy, strategy, willpower and stamina) with the help of the Ko-Matoran Hermit, the Takea shark, a Po-Matoran Mahi herder, Taipu, Tamaru, and a Ta-Matoran guard. She beats every other Kolhii team in the league stage of the championship. After beating the teams, Hahli then collects 6 mysterious crystals from each village, using charms, small round stones she picked up on the way. The Crystals are named after each Principle. After receiving the crystals, Hahli travels to Ta-Koro to play in the Kolhii championship Final. She and Macku win by 2-1-0. Macku leaves and Hahli witnesses the destruction of Ta-Koro by the Rahkshi.
Fleeing, she ends up on the beach where Takua started his online adventure. She climbs up the cliff with the telescope on it and inserts the crystals into six mysterious Mata Nui statues. These statues surround two much larger stones that represent Mata Nui and Makuta. What happens next is something of a mystery...
The cut scene begins with the two stones in the middle (the ones representing Makuta and Mata Nui) glowing brightly, until all you can see is light. Then Hahli is on a cliff above the Kini-Nui as three Rahkshi fly overhead. Then it cuts to Turaga Nokama standing on a beach (or at least, near an ocean), who says: "Yours has been a hard road Hahli, but you have preserved. Not all Matoran thought you were worthy of the challenge, but I saw what is in your heart, and believed in you. Your virtue unlocked the mystery of the Stones and why they have stood so long. Now they have gathered us here. Takua now walks among the great Toa. His role as Chronicler is forfeit. It is time for that honor to pass on to another special Matoran. It is your honor Hahli, from this day forth. The boats are being crafted, chronicler. We will soon depart for Metru Nui. Ready yourself, for there are many adventures to come!". The cutscene ends with Hahli looking out at the ocean.
[edit] Hints
When playing the game, type the word kapura. It will rings up a litte brown box showing you the framerate. Press numbers on the keyboard to get weird stuff to happen. Pressing 8 reloads the screen and fixes any glitches (not Nokama speech glitch, Le-Koro kolhii glitch, or Nixie's hut glitch however.) Getting glitches to fix may take than one try. Pressing 0 makes the log box pop up, if you want the log box to hide press 0. Pressing 2 makes the grid show press 1 to make the grid hide.
The Le-Koro kolhii glitch can be beaten another way. Make sure framerate is up. Play Le-Koro and when you win and the horn goes press 8 immediately before the next screen goes up, but after the horn. The screen will reload and you can get safely out and then you have beaten Le-Koro
Nokama speech glitch cannot be fixed. The file called "NokamaConversion" due to a loss of information the file doesn't work any more. The only way to get around this is if you have beaten the team at Ga-koro already.
Nixie's hut glitch cannot be fixed. Due to a loss of information you can't go in to the hut. The ouly way to get around this is if you have all ready gone into the hut did what you wanted to do.
If you are stuck on a charm hole type kapura and click the riddle (IF there is one). press "0" and a white box should come up. Click the red dot beside "Loading" and it will tell you the name of the charm you need by something like this Loading---loading riddle.dutyLe-koro
Widgets can be made by buying Kolhii balls in Po-Koro for 1 widget and selling them in Ta-Koro for 2 widgets. Also by giving a certain Onu-Matoran a lightstone in Onu-Koro will give you 25 Widgets! You can only use that once.
All 6 crystals (each one named after the principle) can be obtained. If you are stuck on a charms door with no charm you can use the tab cheat. Press tab until a small box comes around the middle of the door then press space bar. Hahli will walk through the door or climb and invisible vine etc. This may need lots of tries.
Once you do the championship you cannot return to Ta-Koro until you have all the crystals. You don't have to have the red one though. (and don't try to return because it will screw up your game and you will be doomed!)
There are 2 way to complete the game after the championship (which is just a cutscene). You can 1.Make sure you have all the crystals (You don't have to have the the red one) before you play the championship. Then you will get courage and duty charms and can get the red crystal. Then go back to Ta-Koro.
2.Play the championship immediately. Then after get the charms and crystals but DO NOT get the red crystal. Instead go back across the bridge and get all the crystals then return and get the red one.
When you return to Ta-Koro you will be hit by a Rahkshi and will end up outside the Ta-Koro temple. If you don't have it, get the red crystal now as you won't be able to return to any other cities. Climb to the beach and up the mountain and insert all 6 crystals into the right slot. Then something happens but it is not yet understood what exactly happens.
