Mat Nastos

Mat Nastos (born November 17, 1972, Wilmington, Delaware as Mathias Nicholas Nastos III), is an art, writer, film maker and publisher. Growing up in Hawaii, Nastos started and ran the first comic conventions in the state. In the 90s, after a stint at both the Joe Kubert School and the School of Visual Arts, Nastos began a long career as a comic book creator and motion picture/television artist/writer and director. Nastos has worked on more than 100 motion pictures and 300 television episodes, while his art and writing have been featured in Elfquest, Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Nifty Comics and many others.

In 1995, Nastos began self publishing as Nifty Comics. His first self distributed feature film, Bite Me, Fanboy, was released in 2005.

Trivia: Mat Nastos is also known as "Unit 546-CS1".
