The souvenir poster was published in late 1982 by Queensland newspaper "The Courier-Mail", either during, or following, the 1982 Commonwealth Games. I bought the newspaper in which the poster was enclosed. Having attended the opening ceremony, personally, I was very happy to be able to own the souvenir poster as a memento of an enjoyable occasion.
