[edit] License tagging for Image:Pullthrough.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Pullthrough.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 02:05, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Yoo-Hoo
Thank you for experimenting with the page Yoo-Hoo on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 15:02, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
Please do not remove messages from your talk page. Talk pages exist as a record of communication, and in any case, comments are available through the page history. You're welcome to archive your talk page, but be sure to provide a link to any deleted comments. Thanks. — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 18:24, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
Please do not remove legitimate warnings from your talk page or replace them with offensive content. Removing or maliciously altering warnings from your talk page will not remove them from the page history. If you continue to remove or vandalize legitimate warnings from your talk page, you will lose your privilege of editing your talk page. Thanks. — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 21:17, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to remove legitimate warning messages from your talk page, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 23:36, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "Vandalism"
If you were to read the messages I have left, you would notice that the only vandal here has been you. Legitimate warning messages can only be removed from your talk page by the person who left it, an administrator, or an arbitration committee. Repeated removal of these warnings is the vandalism. Restoring them is not. The point is, you repeatedly inserted spam-like links of YouTube videos into the articles Yoo-hoo and Pullthrough, when multiple editors have removed them and the article that you continue to link to with these useless links, Silly Hats Only Productions, was deleted by committee back in July. The only vandalism that has occurred has been your link insertions. — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 11:25, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
- Please stop removing warnings from your talk page. If I find you doing it again, or inserting another spam link, I will block you. Thanks... Your friendly Wikipedia admin, Grandmasterka 03:29, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Blocked
I'd sooner have my account deleted than to be permanently branded as a "spammer." If this were "the Crucible," I'd have to die to protect my name. But since this Wikipedia, I can always have another name. If that is to be my fate, so be it. Cheers!!!
- I blocked you for 24 hours... Unfortunately, we cannot delete your account entirely. Would you like this account to be indefinitely blocked? (We have to do that if you edit with a different account anyway.) Then you can start over and no-one will know about this unless you resume your previous behavior. Grandmasterka 06:09, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Well, personally, I'd like to have this account kept as it is. I just don't want to be permanently branded. Thus, I'd like a clean slate on this page. Is there a petition process? And in all honesty, I don't see what the point is in blocking me for 24 hours - I'm not an active spammer here. I created a page that was apparently non-notable, and it was deleted. That is not spamming. I posted links to a video on the subject of Pullthroughs. The video has been viewed by several hundred people, and is certainly the only available video on the subject. I also posted a link to a popular video about Yoo-Hoo. I apologize for not knowing what the threshold is of "notable" on here, but I doubt its a crime for not knowing it. I'm not an advertiser because nothing is being sold - I simply thought the links to the videos brought more to the related topic - the link I added to the video on pullthroughs most certainly does.
- You were blocked for removing warnings from your talk page, after being told not to, several times. If you want to start over, I can archive your talk page (including this discussion; see how I do archiving on my talk page.) That's the best way I can see to go about this.
