[edit] License tagging for Image:Theranmonorail.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Theranmonorail.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:08, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

why do you keep deleting khomenis picture? (in the iran section) keep it on and stick to the facts!

Hi, could you tell me which article you are referring to? I don't recall deleting any pictures, and the only edit I have made to the Iran article today was this one, when I was replacing a large amount of text that had been removed. Thanks – Gurch 18:59, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

When i looked who removed the picture from the Iran section it said you via anti vandal bot. Someone doesnt like khomenis picture in the article and keeps removing it, do you have any idea how to make sure this wont happen again ?

Hi again. I think I've found the edit you mean – this edit. It wasn't me that removed the picture, though – if you look at the diff, the picture is there in my edit but gone in the next edit. The user who removed the picture is User:Arad, you may wish to speak to him about it – Gurch 19:14, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

iam sorry to bother you again but Arad deleted the picture again for the fourth time since i started counting and since iam quiet new i cant find a way to message him about it.
Can you refer him to some admins because he keeps trying to shape Irans history as he likes it by deleting khomenis picture. Without a doubt one of the most important leaders in irans history and he just delets it everytime.

I suggest you try to discuss the matter with him first. Go to User talk:Arad and click the "+" button at the top of the page (next to "edit this page") to leave him a message.

If that doesn't help, see Wikipedia:Resolving disputes for other ways of resolving the problem – Gurch 10:45, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Iranian defence industry

Good Hello. Would you happen to have a source other than the DIO website for all these weapons? For example IZH, the company that holds the patent on the AKM, claims to have never granted permission to anyone else to manufacture them. A quick telephone call to HK would find out if they have given permission for DIO to produce knockoffs. Cheers. L0b0t 02:55, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
