Even if copyright is not an problem, there may be other issues. Wikipedia is meant to be an encyclopedia, not a place for people to publish essays. If you want to contribute to the Freemasonry article, you certainly can, but by your own words, What is a Freemason is an Op-Ed, not an encyclopedia article. I'm not saying the content is bad or wrong or anything like that. This essay may well be a good source for an article, but I don't see that it is an article.
