Master Tatu is a practioner and teacher of Japanese Rope Bondage, or otherwise known as Kinbaku or Nawa Shibari and is on a very short list of well-respected Rope Masters in the US.
He is the creator of the popular Ds Arts and the Japanese Rope Art websites which offer a wide variety of rope and BDSM information. He is also the owner / founder of the Adult Rope Art Yahoo Discussion Group with some 15,000 participants. It is the largest support & educational rope group on the Internet, helping people with: techniques, safety, resources, and artistic exploration of the art of rope.
His undergraduate and graduate studies were in History, Psychology, Sociology and Theology. He is an educator, author, and has over 30 years of public speaking experience to his credit.
Tatu is one of the founding board members (1997) and past President (2005) of S.P.I.C.E. (South Florida People Involved in Consensual Endeavors) a not-for-profit, private membership alternative lifestyles eduational and support organization.
He is also the founder and leader of "Shibari South Florida" (2000) also known as "S.I.L.K.", a Florida based group where 30-50 rope enthusiasts gather twice a month.
Tatu has presented on the art of Japanese Rope at numerous national forums including Shibaricon, Blace Rose, LIL (Living In Leather) sponsored by National Leather Association International, SELF (SouthEast Leather Fest), BMSL (Beat Me in St Louis), Orlando Bash, Kinky Kollege and Sinsations in Leather as well as numerous regional support groups. He was the keynote speaker for Shibaricon 2005.
Tatu enjoys all things Japanese and as such, enjoys the tranquility that this lifestyle has to offer.
