Talk:Mass trespass of Kinder Scout

[edit] Tom Stephenson & Pennine Way
It would be nice to link in this article to Stephenson's call 3 years later for the pennine way route. (Though I read on Google that TS thought the Mass Trespass made 'no effective contribution' to access over the Kinder moorlands - I haven't yet got access to the full text of this OUP journal article).
It's pretty clear that access to the North Derbyshire Moorlands was on his and others minds when the PW route was proposed - otherwise it would have been much more logical (as Wainwright points out) to start down at Dovedale. Linuxlad 11:24, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
