The Master Hilarion in the teachings of Theosophy is the one of the "Masters of the Wisdom" or ascended masters (also collectively called the Great White Brotherhood), the Master of the Fifth Ray (see Seven Rays). He is said in the teachings of Theosophy to have been incarnated as the apostle Paul of Tarsus and the Neo-Platonic philosopher Iamblichus, his final incarnation being Hilarion, a saint of the Roman Catholic Church.
