Massimo Marazzina (born 16 July 1974) is an Italian footballer, currently playing for Bologna.

[edit] Football career
Marazzina was born in Pandino, a city near Lodi in the Province of Cremona. when very young he was in the Pandino's Team "Luisiana" As striker, he started the important part of his career in the Internazionale youth system, he was transferred to U.S. Foggia while they were in the Serie A in 1993.
In 1994, he followed the club into relegation into Serie B. In 1995, he was transferred to Chievo. In the season 1999/2000, he scored sixteen goals for the club, one-third of the total goals scored by the team. Noting his performance, Serie A team Reggina took him on a season-long loan contract in 2000.
He returned to Chievo in 2001, scoring thirteen goals, helping the club reach fifth place and enter the UEFA Cup. He was also called up by the Italy national team. He signed a 4-year extension of his contract at the start of the season 2002/03. [1]

In January 2003, he was loaned out to A.S. Roma to replace Gabriel Batistuta, who had left for Inter. [2] In July 2003, he was loaned out to newly promoted Sampdoria, where his strike partner was Fabio Bazzani. He failed to be a regular starter, and was loaned out to Serie A team Modena in January 2004,and failed to help the club avoid releglation.

In July 2004, he was transferred to Torino, scoring sixteen goals (once again, one-third of the team's total goals) to help the club reach third place, and also winning the promotion play-off against Ascoli & Perugia (He scored in second legs against Ascoli and first legs against Perugia). But Torino remained in Serie B because of its poor financial state, and all the Torino players were allowed to leave for free. Marazzina then joined Serie A team Siena.
In January 2006, he signed for Bologna.
