Massacre, Dominica

Massacre is a town in Dominica, in the Saint Paul Parish with about 1,200 inhabitants. It is located on the central west coast of the island, to the north of the capital, Roseau. The Massacre River flows through here.

This town is named after a massacre of the Carib Indians that happened here in 1674.
