[edit] License tagging for Image:Dcijackmeadows.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Dcijackmeadows.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 21:05, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Warning
Do not remove other peoples comments. However i will not readd them as they could be considerd an attack. However if you are this "Dundee Mark" you should not edit comments about you. Its extremley rude. Matthew Fenton (contribs) 15:19, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Regarding edits made during August 7, 2006 (UTC)
Please do not replace Wikipedia pages or sections with blank content. It is considered vandalism. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. Matthew Fenton (contribs) 15:19, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

- 1) I always assumed that talk pages came under the same rules as article pages, in that obvious vandalism could be removed (which is what those comments were). If this isn't the case, I apologise.
- 2) I'm not really sure what sections or pages you're talking about. None of my recent contributions show me as leaving blank content, so could you point me in the direction of the ones you mean. Marks87 15:33, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
Its just a warning, you removed a comment (hence blanking) -- As this comment was directed at you you should in good faith allow someone else to remove it. Matthew Fenton (contribs) 15:44, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

- Right, OK. As I said, I thought talk pages came under the same guidelines as articles, in that anyone could remove obvious vandalism. Thanks for puting me right! Marks87 15:55, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
