From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hi Marek. I noticed your creation of Military Forces. A great first entry. Just a note on a convention issue. When you want to rename an article, the correct way to do it is to move it, rather than creating a new article, with a new name and copying the text over. That is called a 'cut and paste move' and destroys the page history of the article. Moving an article also automatically creates a redirect for the old name of the article and moves the article's associated talk page. In this instance, I don't think it matters too much, since you are basically the only editor, but it creates real problems in articles with multiple editors, and has to be laboriously repaired in such instances. Oh, and Welcome to Wikipedia!--Fuhghettaboutit 01:04, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

Hey again. I'm not sure about other skins, but in MonoBook (default), the move function is at the top of the page, right next to the history tab. Note that your account has to be four days old before you can move a page (if you need to move something now, you can do so by requesting it at WP:RM). Like I said before, I don't think there's a problem with Military Forces. You're the only contributor so it would seem to me to be form over substance to do anything. Let me know if you still can't find the move function and please do not hesitate to drop me a line if you have any technical problems (or for any reason)—there's a pretty steep learning curve here.--Fuhghettaboutit 03:11, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
