[edit] An Alan Smithee Film: Burn Hollywood Burn

Why did you move the stub template to before the external-links section? Stubs always go at the end. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 10:19, 6 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] The AID

Do you want to run the AID? If you do, just say the world and it's yours. I updated the History section (I listed you in front of me as 'Dept. [edit] Request for edit summary

Hi. I am a bot, and I am writing to you with a request. I would like to ask you, if possible, to use edit summaries a bit more often when you contribute. The reason an edit summary is important is because it allows your fellow contributors to understand what you changed; you can think of it as the "Subject:" line in an email. For your information, your current edit summary usage is 21% for major edits and 45% for minor edits. (Based on the last 150 major and 71 minor edits in the article namespace.)

This is just a suggestion, and I hope that I did not appear impolite. You do not need to reply to this message, but if you would like to give me feedback, you can do so at the feedback page. Thank you, and happy edits, Mathbot 11:30, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] {{FACfailed}}

Please don't put this on pages that never have been FACs. You may notice that for practically all of them, there is no "sup-page." If you want to learn more about FACs go to WP:FAC. Thank you. GizzaChat © 12:28, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

  • All of the pages in which I'm putting that template are in the 2003-04 nominations archive, so while they don't have their own subpage, they are indeed former candidates. MarcK 12:34, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
    • Sorry about that. GizzaChat © 03:56, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] DiZ

I see you added "Darkness in Zero" to the opening paragraph's parenthesis in the DiZ article... I'm not sure if that's appropriate. You see, that parenthesis is saying what the Katakana says, and isn't a place for other names. Wouldn't it be better to have it mentioned a little later, as the basis for the name? He isn't called Darkness in Zero, after all - that's just how he made his name. So at some point it should just mention that DiZ stands for Darkness in Zero. In fact, I think it already does... -JC 10:06, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] PLEASE ASSIST, WRESTLING FANS OF WIKIPEDIA

[edit] Villa Capra

Which part specifically of [1] do you feel if translated would improve Villa Capra "La Rotonda" - the expansive bibliography perhaps? Giano | talk 21:42, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

  • It's not that; I just feel if an article is featured on another Wikipedia and not here it's worth noting on the talk page and categorically, as per WP:FAOL. MarcK 21:51, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] ROH shows

A suggestion and a request:

1 - Create redirects to the shows that are just the event name without the "ROH:" prefix. I think it's pretty safe to assume someone is more likely to type in Honor Invades Boston than ROH: Honor Invades Boston

2 - Might you perhaps spiffy up my Survival of the Fittest article to bring it more line with the other show articles? I just noticed your ROH articles tonight, very good work.

Tromboneguy0186 04:15, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

If you haven't noticed, some of the articles now have PROD's on them. I'm starting to wonder if anything ever WON'T be deleted. Tromboneguy0186 03:52, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] NPOV on The Ron White Show

You did it again. Clay4president 00:58, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
The fact is that you did them at least at a quarter to nine! Clay4president 01:28, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
Ugh, I hate doing it 4 hours before midnight (like 10 hours before midnight for you), you are really an annoyance. TJ Spyke 00:19, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
If I wanted to I could just revert your edits and do them myself since me and Clay handle the titles, but I will proove than I am the bigger person and not do that, this time anyways. 00:29, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
There you go again. Could I possibly edit the title lengths for once! Clay4president 03:17, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
How early are you going to do this? Clay4president 02:29, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Anightofappreciationdvdcover.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Anightofappreciationdvdcover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Adrenalynn (film)

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Adrenalynn (film), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. [edit] ROH World Tag Team Championship / ROH World Championship

I change them back because the WK:PW page, the section about how to list championships, has nothing to back up your changes, with the exception of listing the names of the show. Also, some of the stuff you put doesn't provide the information it should, or it is flat out wrong. Let’s start at the top:

  • You leave out the fact that AJ Styles had to win a tag team scramble match by himself earlier in the night just to earn a shot at ROH Tag Team Championships at Expect the Unexpected.
  • You say “Vacated on September 6, 2003 when Red is injured”, which looks like Red was injured on Sep. 6 when his injuries happened prior.
  • You say “Won a tag team gauntlet match, also involving Special K members Izzy & Dixie, Hydro & Angel Dust, The Carnage Crew, The Ring Crew Express and the Briscoe Brothers” which looks like Special K only had one team in the gauntlet match.
  • You don’t list Dan Maff and BJ Whitmer as The Prophecy for their first title win, despite the fact that they were still apart of The Prophecy.
  • You don’t say which of the three members of the Second City Saints won the ROH Tag Team Titles for the second run.
  • You say “The previous three title changes were part of a Round Robin Challenge for the Tag Team Championship”, when the were the Round Robin Challenge was not for the titles but to see who the better team was.
  • You list Ricky Reyes and Rocky Romero as “The Havana Pitbulls”, when they were always introduced (while champions) as The Rottweilers.
  • You put "Title vacated when Maff leaves the company", when a) Dan Maff was forced out of the company when ROH had to chose between Homicide and Maff, and b) ROH kayfabed it by saying he retired from wrestling as a result of a car crash. Also, WP:WK that if titles are vacated to list them in the notes section.
  • You say that Jimmy Jacobs and BJ Whitmer “defeated Jay Lethal & Samoa Joe in a decision match”, meaning they had a match and ROH decided they should be champions instead of defeating Jay Lethal and Samoa Joe to win the vacated titles, which they did.
  • You list Liverpool, England as “Liverpool, EN” when EN is not an abbreviation for England.
  • Finally, if you look on the discussion page you will see that ROH World Tag Team Champions is not affiliated with WikiProject: Professional Wrestling, so what they say technically has no bearing here.

Now, off of that subject and into another: ROH World Championship. You keep removing that the title was defended in Japan. Here is the Newswire from ROH that says it will be defended in Japan, a report from ROHwrestling.com that says the title was defended in Japan, and ROH’s Title History page also saying it was defended in Japan. And if we go to Pro Wrestling NOAH’s webpage (the English one) we see: a statement saying the ROH World Championship was defended in Japan, and the results of the show also stating that the ROH World Championship was defended in Japan.PepsiPlunge 22:01, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Auto update

Is it just me, or did Alex (whatever his name is) not really help anything with the title pages? We still have to update the pages, so should re just go back to how it was before? TJ Spyke 01:45, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] New User with a question

Hello. I'm a new user and noticed that (I believe) you wrote the Monsta Mack article. Did you write the article originally, or did you just edit it? -YeLLeY511 22:17, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Masatotanakafiresword.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Masatotanakafiresword.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Image:Katsuhiko_Nakajima.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:Katsuhiko_Nakajima.JPG. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Abu badali (talk) 11:56, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:A_Perfect_Vacuum.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:A_Perfect_Vacuum.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Thank you. ↔NMajdantalk 21:15, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
