[edit] Hedgerley

I reverted your removal of information because I felt said information was interesting and useful, and, most importantly, relevent to the page it had been put on. I was going to ask for references for this information but you'd redeleted the text before I could and I couldn't be bothered to get into an edit war.

An article about a village does not need to be restricted to "social or historical" information, it merely needs to contain interesting and useful information. You may not have considered the trivia to be so, but others may well do. An encyclopedia is, after all, for everyone, not just for you. Furthermore, your inflammatory description of it as "inane tripe" is hardly the most civil way to approach editing.

I'll ignore the fact that you've called me spiteful and ignorant. Tim 02:00, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
