I'm Mark. I am 18 years old, born in Newport, South Wales, UK, I now live in Southampton during term-time. I study at Southampton Solent University. One day I will get round to tidying up my userboxes into neat little sections. I am agnostic but I celebrate Christian festivals with my family.
My interests are, Music, pretty much any type, especially stuff you can dance to,
Sports, especially football, basketball and boxing,
Cooking, love to invent my own dishes, love Italian ingredients, I also eat way too much junk food,
Architecture, especially tall buildings and skyscrapers, I believe man can create such beautiful structures, as well as nature, urban regeneration is also tied in with this, as can be seen in my hometown of Newport,
Certain areas of science, such as space and diseases, although science bored the hell out of me in school,
TV and Film, love stand-up comedy and sitcoms, especially American ones such as Malcolm in the Middle and some dramas, such as Lost, I'm a fan of action movies in particular, although I don't go to the cinema as often as I'd like. I like adult humour, I admit anything a bit politically incorrect tickles me,
Poetry, and writing music,
Languages and other cultures and their history, hope to learn more French soon, I like to learn about people's opinions of other cultures and how many of these are merely misconceptions and why these occur,
The urban landscape and lifestyle, relating to my love of architechture, but also why do people move into the cities? I like to learn about population demographics,
Computers and the internet, I'm a heavy internet user, love instant messaging especially, and use my laptop or PC to download videos and music. I enjoy looking at, and somtimes participating in, forums and chat rooms, discussing many of the other topics on this list. My computer knowledge is basic at best, though,
Weather and climate, global warming and its possible consequences interest me greatly, as do extreme weather events,
Computer games, although I don't play very often anymore, it's usually football, shooting or fighting games,
Family history and my ancestors,
Fashion, and going shopping for those fashions,
Politics, to a certain extent,
Travelling, I like to visit as many new places as possible, especially by train,
Socialising and going out.
