[edit] About me

Hello, and welcome to my page!

First I'll say something about myself. I'm living in Bratislava, Slovakia (hence the nickname, as BA is abbreviation of Bratislava) and I'm currently studying at grammar school at 6th grade (only 2 years to go). My interests include geography (especially human), history, transport in general and computers. Here I would like to contribute mostly about towns and villages, motorways and highways or add missing topics to Slovakia (currently doing mostly the third). Although I'm no brilliant or good prose creator, I don't care about that.

To the collaborations, WikiProjects and that kind of thing, I must say that I'm quite reserved to them and prefer doing articles on my own.

To explain my language skills as shown in Babel:

  • I can read and write English at level 3-3¼, but I can understand/speak at 2¼, so my box should be rather 2½ as an upper-intermediate user rather than 3.
  • I can read Czech quite well, understanding is a bit worse, but I would do probably a lot of mistakes when trying to speak or write.
  • I can read Croatian at level 1¼, but everything else probably around ½-¾.
  • I can read and write German at level 1-1½, speak at level 1, but understand around ¾.
  • Rest doesn't need explaining.
