[edit] US -> MD 222

Can someone supply the reason that it lost the US designation. FWIW the stretch north of Port Deposit just got repaved and is a joy to drive on.--J Clear 01:15, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

As the article now states, it is due to the 90-degree turn, the low railroad bridge and the steep grades. One thing I don't understand though is why US 222 was simply not rerouted via Truck MD 222. -TheOneKEA
