[edit] Sheffield Grammar School

Sheffield Grammar School closed in 1905 (becoming King Edward VII school) so it's not likely that Flannery went to it. There was City Grammar. And several other grammar schools. Some of his obits do say Sheffield Grammar School, but can't be right. The Guardian has "Flannery attended the local De La Salle Roman Catholic grammar school and teacher training college" so I've changed it. roundhouse 16:36, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
