Note that in the cited reference, as well as in the penal colony docs I've sighted, the other cannibal is spelled "Pierce" not "Pearce". "Pearce" is the spelling used in the media of the day, and there are some records of him as "Pearce" from the penal colonies, so it's not clear cut exactly what was the spelling. I've changed it back to Pierce to keep it consistent with the reference to Nunn. Johnpf 22:46, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
