[edit] Archive

This talk page has been quiet for some time now (no posts in 2007), and the page was getting unwieldy (as well as deviating from some of the rules for talk pages), so I decided to archive it. Cuffeparade 10:55, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Categories

Just curious about some of the categories on the article. A few of them seem to be redundant (like articles lacking sources from Dec 2006 and articles lacking sources from Feb 2007), but I don't know the procedure or rules related to removing or consolidating categories. Also the language of some of the 'redundant' categories are slightly different, but seem to me have the same meaning. Anyways, I'm proposing to reduce the number of categories as well as urging fellow editors to either find sources for some of these statements or else editing them out so that the article can get out from under the various negative categories it currently carries. [edit] Sports

I am wondering about an inconsistency in the dates of boys soccer NCS championships. The article says that they were won in 2000 and 2001, but an article from the Marin IJ sourced on MA's website says that the last NCS win was in 2002. Can anybody shed some light on the dates? And is it perhaps a matter of referencing the school year (ie 2001/2002) versus the actual date that the final was played on (NCS final for 2001/2002 school year would be played on a date in 2001, for instance) Cuffeparade 11:08, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Neutrality?

I propose that the bias tag be removed now that there have been substantial changes to the pages content. I agree that the Changes At MA section should retain the notice warning of a lack of verifiable sources, but I think that the rest of the article can now be considered unbiased and properly sourced. I'll wait a few days before removing the bias tag in case there is any disagreement. Cuffeparade 11:57, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

I have now removed the bias tag, I'd request that anybody who wishes to reinstate it explain their reasoning here on the talk page before taking any action. Cuffeparade 11:06, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
