[edit] MD 835A
The road is perhaps best known for its associated route, Maryland Route 835A, which is the only letter suffixed state highway in Maryland to be signed with its letter suffix [1]. MD 835A is also known as Thompson Creek Service Road and starts at an intersection with MD 8 (where the only signs that identify the road as MD 835A are located), parallels U.S. Route 50, providing access to the Kent Island Park and Ride and shopping centers, and ends when the road turns away from US 50 and becomes Thopson Creek Road. An intersection at this point connects the road to eastbound US 50. As of 2006, this intersection, which has been called "the most dangerous intersection on Kent Island", is in the process of being redone for safety reasons.
[edit] MD 835C
Maryland Route 835C is the former alignment of Maryland Route 18 through downtown Stevensville. It is routed along the length of East Main Street and up Love Point Road where it rejoins MD 18. At this intersection, Love Point Road is routed north along MD 18, and MD 18 south of this intersection is named Business Parkway.
