From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Maryland Route 299 is a road in Cecil and Kent counties running from Millington north and east to the Delaware border.

[edit] Route description

Starting at the Delaware border, Maryland 299 is also U.S. Route 301, the Blue Star Memorial Highway, heading southwest. At the intersection with Sassafras Road, Maryland 299 diverges from U.S. Route 301 and follows Sassafras Road in a more southerly direction. The road's name changes to Galena Sassafras Road, and then at an intersection with Maryland 290, Maryland 299 turns to follow Massey Road southward until ending at an intersection with Maryland 313 and Maryland 330 known as Massey.
