Charlotte Mary Stott (nee Waddington), (born Leicester, 18 July 1907-16 September 2002) was a journalist and the founding columnist on the Guardian's Women's Page. She was its main contributor from 1957 to 1972, setting its unique but moderate feminist tone, to be succeeded by Jill Tweedie.
In November 2005 she was one of just five women included in the Press Gazette's 40-strong 'gallery' of most influential British journalists.
