Mary Shepard

Mary Shepard (1909 - 2000)

Daughter of E.H. Shepard illustrator of Winnie the Pooh and Wind in the Willows.

She married E. V. Knox, father of Penelope Fitzgerald.

An illustrator in her own right, she is most well known for her illustrations of P.L. Travers' Mary Poppins.
