Mary Millar (26 July 193610 November 1998) was an English actress best remembered for her role as Rose in BBC sitcom Keeping Up Appearances. She was born Mary Wetton in Doncaster, Yorkshire

Millar began her career in 1962 in Lock Up Your Daughters, and she was in the original cast of The Phantom of the Opera as Madame Giry. She additionally played Mrs. Potts in the West End production of Beauty and the Beast.

She also starred in Keeping Up Appearances as Rose [#2] replacing Shirley Stelfox. Apparently a main reason she got the role was for her 'youthful' figure, and her long legs.

She recorded her vocals for Beauty and the Beast shortly before she died of ovarian cancer in 1998 at the age of 62. She died in Brockley, London.

She is survived by her daughter, from her marriage in 1962
