Mary Margaret Smith

Mary Margaret Smith (October 7, 1893 - May 23, 2006) was at the time of her passing Ohio's oldest verified living person, at 112 years and 228 days. She also ranked 5th in the United States and was the 13th oldest person in the world. Born in Pittsburgh in 1893, she moved to Ohio in 1898. She had two husbands. She lived on her own until 95 and did not enter a nursing home until the age of 108.
