Mary Katharine Ham

Mary Katharine Ham (born 1980, Montgomery, Alabama) is a popular conservative blogger and columnist for the website Townhall.com, where she is also the Managing Editor. She also has a video blog series named "HamNation", which won a Golden Dot award for Best Vlog of 2006 from the Institute for Politics, Democracy & the Internet.[1]

She graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia, and previously worked for local media in North Carolina before arriving at TownHall.com by way of its previous owners, the Heritage Foundation, where she had edited Insider Magazine and its online subsidiary. She has also blogged for Hugh Hewitt, and guest-hosted Vent, Michelle Malkin's video blog.

Her father, Jon Ham, is also a journalist and blogger.[2]
