Mary Coustas

Mary Coustas (born 16 September 1964) is an Australian television personality. Originally from Melbourne, Coustas often performs under the impersonation of "Effie": a stereotypical second-generation Greek Australian.

Her initial claim to fame was on the somewhat popular 1980s television sitcom Acropolis Now. Since then, Coustas has frequented television commercials and had her own talk show called Greeks On The Roof. She also played straight dramatic roles in two police series: Skirts (1990), and Wildside (1998).
