Mary Choksi

Mary Choksi a founding partner of Strategic Investment Group, an investment and portfolio management group located in Rosslyn, Virginia. She is a key contributor to the development of Strategic’s overall investment policy, with extensive expertise in the area of non-U.S. investments and manager incubation programs. She serves on the Board of Directors of the H.J. Heinz Company, where she chairs the Public Issues Committee. She is also a Trustee and Chair of the Finance Committee of The National Museum of Women in the Arts and a member of the Governing Board and chair of the Finance Committee of the St. Albans School. Prior to the formation of Strategic, Ms. Choksi was a Senior Loan Officer and a Senior Pension Investment Officer at the World Bank. She holds an M.A. in Public Affairs and a B.A. in French from the University of Minnesota. She also holds an M.A. in International Affairs and has completed doctoral studies (except dissertation) in International Studies at Johns Hopkins University. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband Armeane and children Maaren, Trista, and Alexander Nicolas.
