Marwari Boys' College in Ranchi was founded in 1963. It is affiliated under the Ranchi University and offers Bachelor's degrees in Arts, Commerce and Science. This college is particularly famous for its Commerce faculty and Vocational Courses ie Bachelor of Bio-technology, Information Technology, Computer Application & Maintenance. Side by side the facility of Add-on courses are available here. The faculty of Arts & Science are also very rich in this college with a large number of experienced teachers here.

Marwari College is a B++ NAAC graded institution. For the first time this constituent unit of Ranchi University, Ranchi has made a record in making a documentary film on Marwari College named "Gurukul Jharkhand" under the Patronship of Dr. Jawed Ahmed, Pricipal, of the college and under the directorship of Prof. Sushil Ankan and his team of Dr. R. P. Sing, Dr. S. N. Paul, Mr. Anandraj Singh & Mr. B. B.Pandey of this college.
