Marvels of the East

The Marvels of the East is one of the prose works in Cotton Vitellius A. xv, also called the Nowell Codex. An illuminated version, presented in both Anglo-Saxon and Latin, also appears in Cotton Tiberius B v. The text describes various far-off lands, including Babylon and Egypt, and their fantastic inhabitants.
