Martyrs' Lane (formerly The Kirov Park) is a cemetery and memorial in Baku, Azerbaijan dedicated to those killed by the Red Army during "Black January" (January 19/20, 1990) and later to those killed in war with Armenia. Its estimated that about 15,000 people are buried in the cemetery. Photographs of victims featured on each tomb-stone are sobering and poignant. It is located on a hill in the south of the city and offers sweeping views of the Caspian Sea.
