Martyn Booty is a former professional footballer, who is currently a coach at Coca-Cola League One side Huddersfield Town.
He started his career as a trainee at Coventry City, but struggled to break into the first team. After leaving Highfield Road, he moved to Crewe Alexandra, Reading, Southend United (after an initial loan spell) and Chesterfield.
In 2003, Peter Jackson (who had just been re-appointed as manager of Huddersfield Town), brought Booty in to help with Huddersfield's revitalisation following 2 relegations in 3 seasons, but he picked up an injury and only managed 4 games during that season.
At the end of the season, Jackson appointed Booty as one of his coaches, a role which he is still at today.
