Marty Green (played by Daniel Schutzmann) is a fictional character in the BBC Scotland soap, River City.

Marty arrived in Shieldinch with his wife Ruth, despite her family being led to believe he was fabricated by Ruth as she was in a poor mental state. During his time in Shieldinch he has had an affair with Iona MacIntyre, which Ruth is now aware of, and was to have a baby with Ruth before she miscarried. Marty is good friends with local Shieldinch-ers Billy Davies and Gerry McGrade.
