Martu (Sumerian god)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Martu is a god in Sumerian mythology, the patron god of the city of Ninab. This city is mentioned in texts but has never been re-discovered. Martu was probably not a true Sumerian deity but adopted from an unknown western Semitic culture. He is sometimes identified as a storm god.
