This entry has no connection with the environmental journalist and adviser, also called Martin Wright, who is editor (at large) of Green Futures magazine.

Martin Wright was a co-founder of Class War together with Ian Bone and others. Bone and Wright were also organisers as the anti-royalist group Movement against the Monarchy (MA'M).

He also worked with many other groups including the London Autonomists and production collective of Anarchy Magazine and Xtra during the 1970s & early '80s

He had a book called Camden Parasites, written with his brother Daniel Wright, under the pseudo name Daniel Lux, published in 1999, by Unpopular Books.

An oil painting of Martin Wright by Laura Norder was exhibited at The Foundry, East London, as part of the We Get Restless exhibition from April 30th 2003 to 10th May 2003.

He was accused of being "drawn to fascist politics" by Clive Bloom in the book Violent London : 2000 Years of Riots, Rebels and Revolts, Publisher: Pan Macmillan (September 18, 2004) ISBN 0-283-07310-1.

His last book is Anti Fascist [2006], a memoir of his early days discovering radical anarchist politics and physically confronting fascists on the streets of England. It recollects mass anti fascist actions such as Red Lion Square 1974 , Lewisham 1977 Southall 1979 and spills the beans on famous and hugely influential punk pacifists CRASS.
