Martin Stranzl

Martin Stranzl (born June 16, 1980 in Güssing) is an Austrian footballer.

As a youth player Stranzl played for SV Güssing. In 1997 he earned a transfer to TSV 1860 München, where he rose from being a junior player to a Bundesliga professional. In 2004, following the relegation of 1860, the defender went to VfB Stuttgart. In March 2006 he signed for Russian side Spartak Moscow.

As of 2006 he has earned 29 caps and 2 goals for Austria.
