Martin Starr (born July 30, 1982) is an American television and film actor. He is best known for his portrayal of Bill Haverchuck on the short-lived NBC dramedy Freaks and Geeks (1999-2000). Starr reunited with both Freaks and Geeks director Judd Apatow and Freaks and Geeks co-star Seth Rogen when he made a guest appearance on Apatow's sitcom Undeclared in the episode Perfect Date.
Starr also appeared in the 2002 film Stealing Harvard, and the 2005 miniseries Revelations. Starr also had an appearance on the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother in late 2005.
Starr was born in Santa Monica, California. He is the son of actress Jean St. James.
