Martin Rocek is a professor of theoretical physics at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He has many interests. Of particular note, he was one of the coinventors of hyperkahler quotients, a hyperkahler analogue of Marsden-Weinstein reduction. His research interests include supersymmetry and string theory.
