Martin Rich

Martin Rich (October 8, 1905 - October 23, 2000), was a German opera and symphonic conductor, who came from Germany during the Second World War. Rich conducted at places such as the Bologna in Italy, and Grant Park, in Illinois. Martin also loved to play the piano and had been doing it since age 5. Rich claimed that he was born left handed but the adults around him forced him to learn to be right handed. Besides being a symphonic conductor Rich was also a vocal coach for people such as Martina Arroyo. Matin was very dedicated to his work, and worked for a very long time. Rich was survived by a loving wife, daughter, and two grandchildren. He studied in Dortmund.
