Martin Murphy Middle School is a middle school located in San Jose, California which educates students in 7th and 8th grade, and is part of the Morgan Hill Unified School District. Founded in 1979, Martin Murphy serves a large geographical area ranging from South San Jose to the rural south region of Morgan Hill, enrolling approximately 850 students annually.

Students who attend the school range from upper middle case to low income, with the racial distribution of the school approximately 52% are Caucasian, 33% Hispanic, 7% Asian, 1% American Indian/Alaskan, 3% African-American, 3% Filipino, and 1% Pacific Islander. As of 2005, 11% of those in attendance qualify for the free or reduced lunch program, in contrast to the state average of 39.4%
