Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School, part of the Richmond City Public Schools system, is a middle school located in Richmond, Virginia, USA with roughly 800 students in grades 6 through 8.

Renamed in the 2004-2005 academic year to honor Martin Luther King, Jr., the school was formerly known as Mosby Middle School. Built in connection with the 17th Street Redevelopment Project, the school opened September 2, 1964, as Mosby Junior High School and Mosby Elementary School. The elementary grades were discontinued in 1972.

Located in the greater Church Hill area of Richmond, the school was originally named for Benjamin Mosby, a realtor who developed a section of the area early in the nineteenth century. Part of Mosby's development area became known as Union Hill and part as Howard's Grove, in which (prior to annexation in 1906) a four-room high school was maintained by Henrico County on Spottswood Street. According to the Richmond Civil War Centennial Committee, Mosby School occupies part of the site of Howard's Grove, "... a vast and popular recreational area which during the American Civil War became one of the largest hospitals operated by the Confederacy."
