Martin Birrane

Martin Birrane is an Irish millionaire, and owner of Lola Cars (which was involved in the attempted revival of British-based Rover) and the Mondello Park racetrack.

Born in Knockmore, County Mayo in 1935, Birrane made his money in property development. He competed in the Le Mans 24 Hours 8 times, and has other motor racing achievements. He currently lives in Spain.

The Sunday Times Rich List values him at €152 million.
