Martha Bedell Alexander is a Democratic member of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the state's one hundred sixth House district, including constituents in Mecklenburg county. A homemaker from Charlotte, North Carolina, Alexander is currently (2003-2004 session) serving in her sixth term in the state House.
